Work in progress of Japanese kamisori（ShizuSaburo） were discovered at Kura of a local wholesaler in Hyogo prefecture. It were made in 1980S, about 30pieces.

We have been long good relationship with the local wholesaler over many decades. That's maybe the reason why they let us about the valuable information.

Anyway, we had a project to complete this old kamisori. It is the collaboration work with 藤(Tou）group(polisher,custom knife maker,artist.)

Final finishing is used with Kyoto natural stone, Iwasaki select maruka syouhonyama stone, diamond stone, cordovan ,velvet on board, Also Diamond paste and loupe.

These techniques were instructed by swordsmith Shigeyoshi Iwasaki and great blacksmith Ryoichi Mizuochi from Sanjyo seisakusyo in Sanjyo.
